Alexandra House offers a number of support groups for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their supportive loved ones. Please refer to descriptions and registration information below. Preregistration is required for all groups, call Therapy & Support Services Program at 763-656-1366. Free childcare may be available with call ahead notification. All services are free and confidential!

Coffee & Conversation

Tuesdays: 10:00 – 11:00 AM
Location: Alexandra House, Blaine, MN
Topics include domestic violence, sexual violence, finances and budgeting, resume writing and interviewing, healthy relationships, and fire safety/prevention. Join us to chat and enjoy some treats!

More than Survivors: Writing Support Group

Tuesdays: 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Location: Alexandra House, Blaine, MN
This is a support group for women who have experienced domestic or sexual violence and who are seeing support and encouragement from other women. It is a safe place to connect and heal through creative expression. * No writing experience necessary! *

Self-Esteem Support Group

Wednesdays: 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Location: Alexandra House, Blaine, MN
This is a support group for women who have experienced domestic or sexual violence who seek support in building self-esteem and exploring personal worth and value.

For survivors of abuse to reflect on life experiences, increase feelings of self-worth, and build on personal strengths.

Support & Healing Group for Survivors of Domestic & Sexual Violence

Thursdays: 6:30 – 8:00 PM

These is a support/educational group for adult women who have survived domestic or sexual assault/abuse and are ready to explore their personal healing process and find hope.

Mindfulness & Meditation

Fridays: 10:00 – 11:00 AM
Location: Alexandra House, Blaine, MN
This is a support group for adult women seeking to learn about meditation as it relates to self-care and emotional health. * Not a group for processing experiences of abuse.*
