Movers for Moms

Alexandra House benefits from the Two Men and a Trucks, Movers for Moms initiative.

Every year, Two Men and a Truck locations partner with local businesses, schools, and other organizations to collect essential care items, such as soap and shampoo, for women staying in domestic abuse or homeless shelters. Once all donations are collected, our move teams pick up and sort the items. Then around Mother’s Day, they deliver the donations to their shelter partners. 

This year they are partnering with four (4) women’s shelters across the Twin Cities: Cornerstone, Southern Valley Alliance, Alexandra House, and Lewis House! Drop-off locations are listed below, and the drive runs from April 1st – May 10th.
